This winter, NUO is delighted to debut a brand-new themed Afternoon Tea to be enjoyed in the Lobby Lounge: the Asuka Japanese Tea Experience. A luxurious range of delicate and refined Japanese teas will be paired with delicious and creative sweets and pastries, for your gastronomic pleasure.

Mini Dorayaki
A delicate Japanese dorayaki confection, this creation uses only premium Uji matcha green tea and balances it with a dash of sweet red bean for a taste that is truly incomparable.

Deep-steamed green tea Mont Blanc
A Japanese take on the classic Mont Blanc cream dessert, with the addition of deliciously scented green tea for a fresh, zesty taste.

Yuzu macaroon
Soft yuzu cream, fresh lemon crumble and blood orange foam, celebrating this Asian fruit and its auspicious associations.

Asuka Japanese Tea is previously called the Miura Tea Garden that was created in 1882. It is a tea garden with over 100 years of history in Shizuoka Japan and it has gone through 4 generations inheritance. They always adhere to the traditional tea making method and they are a professional tea enterprise that strictly abides by the quality. Now, under the global integration, Asuka has come to the world and become an excellent supplier of Japanese tea. The cooperation of “Asuka Japanese Tea Experience” with NUO this time is the high-end tea brand created by the researcher of Japanese traditional culture and renowned tea ceremony master Professor Asuka Suigetu in 2004. Its tea is the high-end tea originated from Japan’s renowned tea plantation that was originally the tea used exclusively for tea ceremony in the tea house of Tokugawa Ieyasu’s Sunpujo Momiji Courtyard in Japan Shizuoka Prefecture.
