The first-ever Bangkok MICHELIN guide was announced at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok hotel. A total of 98 restaurants in Bangkok secured a place in the guide, of which 17 received the honour of being recognised as a Michelin Star establishment.

Jai Fai is the only street food vendor who received a one star Michelin honour. She has successfully built up a strong fan base through her renown culinary skills by serving up crab omelet, crab curries and dry porridges prepared from the recipe handed down by her father.
