Genting Cruise Lines was honoured by the Jeju Cruise Industry Association at the Asian Cruise Awards when Dream Cruises’ Genting Dream was chosen as Asia’s Best Cruise Ship during a special ceremony held at the Jeju Landing Convention Center on 29 August. Organised by the Asia Cruise Forum Jeju Organising Committee and the Asia Cruise Leaders Network, Mr. Raymond Lim, Senior Vice President, Planning & Port Management, Port Operations, Genting Cruise Lines was on hand to accept the prestigious award on behalf of Dream Cruises during the event.

We thank the Jeju Cruise Industry Association, Asia Cruise Forum Jeju and the Asia Cruise Leaders Network for this recognition and it is truly a privilege to be named Asia’s Best Cruise Ship,” said Mr. Thatcher Brown, President of Dream Cruises & Managing Director of Crystal Cruises Asia. “As the newest member of the Genting Cruise Lines family, this award reflects the efforts of our dedicated team at Dream Cruises who have consistently gone above and beyond to establish this brand in the Asian market in less than two years. It has been our goal to exceed the expectations of our guests and the cruise industry, and we have been working hard to continually raise our standard of service and offerings to new heights.”

Dream Cruises’ fleet of Genting Dream and World Dream are currently homeported in Singapore and Guangzhou (Nansha) delivering inspirational and aspirational journeys at sea for a wide ranging cross-section of guests. At the top end of the spectrum, The Palace is a luxurious “ship within a ship” enclave available on the Dream Cruises fleet featuring over 140 suites and private VIP facilities including its own swimming pool, spa, gym and dining venues. The luxurious atmosphere of The Palace is further enhanced by the meticulous, personalized service of its renowned team of Dream Butlers who are on hand to cater to the every whim of their guests.

For events with a difference, Dream Cruises’ MICE products have also been well-received by the market. Dream Cruises’ wide selection of dedicated conference, meeting and event venues can cater to events from 8 to 999 guests and the brand’s experienced team of event planners can tailor the cruise experience for different occasions, whether for a corporate event or a large scale social gathering.

To further grow the Dream Cruises fleet, the brand is set to launch its first “Global Class” ship in 2020. The new Global Class vessel will be designed specifically for the rapidly growing Asian cruise market and will be among the most technologically advanced ships featuring artificial intelligence and highlighted by a wide array of leisure, entertainment and dining experiences.
