29 June 2018

Zero Latency, the pioneer and global leader in warehouse-scale virtual reality (VR) experiences is making its Greater China debut in Macau; using state-of-the-art wireless technology and motion tracking to take players into the next level of social gaming.

A trial price of MOP400 for 1 person (regular price MOP450) is available now for a 45-minute session.

The fast-growing gaming concept has already extended to 18 venues in 9 countries across 4 continents in just 4 years; taking Asia by storm with venues in Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, Singapore, the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, Busan in South Korea and now Macau. The new venue will be Zero Latency’s 19th venue worldwide and launches at Cotai Strip’s Broadway Macau.

Launched in Melbourne, Australia in 2014, Zero Latency is “the most immersive and engaging VR experience in the world,” said Co-founder and CEO Tim Ruse.

Zero Latency offers visitors a unique experience that sits at the intersection of social gaming, virtual reality and advanced technology.  Equipped with VR headsets, headphones, military-style backpacks and weapons, players can talk, strategies, call for help, warn their teammates and banter while battling zombies, robots or drones.

“Nothing in the world compares to our experience. Zero Latency is reviving social gaming, taking players out of their homes and bringing them together again. It’s the next level of social entertainment that today’s gamers can really immerse themselves in.” Adds Mr Ruse.

Teams can move freely around in hyper-realistic, immersive settings where all movements are replicated in a virtually-generated world.

Zero Latency games include an epic battle to stay alive in the form of Zombie Survival, an experience for thrill seekersin which teams are bunkered in a fort and surrounded by masses of zombies. While Singularity, a galaxy space mission battling killer drones and rogue robots task teammates to investigate a secret military space station and take on the Terminators. A family fun adventure suitable for all ages can be found in Engineerium; set in a fantasy, ancient alien world of colourful avatar-like characters where teamwork is key to navigating a maze of gravity-defying ramps and twisty, curvy walls and solving physics-based puzzles.

Designed for groups of friends, parties, families or VR gaming teams, tickets for the Broadway Macau arena can be booked via www.zerolatencyvrmacau.com.
