Elephant Mud Fun

04 January 2019

Bali Zoo does it again with another first in elephant experiences. The new Elephant Mud Fun half-day package allows tourists to get down and dirty with the friendly Sumatran elephants while also discovering all about their behavior and lifestyle from our experienced mahout handlers.

The half-day tour will begin with a 7am hotel pick up and transport to Bali Zoo. Tourists have a chance to play, feed, interact and take photos with them. Eventually, tourists will walk with the elephants down to the nearby River Wos to join them for a splash, bath and scrub down. Then will return to the zoo for a shower and change followed by a relaxing lunch from 11am till noon.

After meal tourists will be free to explore the rest of the zoo and the collection of over 300 rare and exotic animals including rare and endangered species such as the Komodo Dragon, Sumatran Tiger, Orangutan and Bali Starling. Admission also allows you to participate in our various 'hands-on' animal encounter sessions where you are allowed to feed, pet and take photos with a number of our zoo inhabitants.
