Welcome to Vevey which located at Montreux in the heart of French-speaking Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Geneva and at the foot of the Alps. Montreux Riviera is undoubtedly a gourmet paradise. Every year, Michelin and Gault & Millau guides name the best gourmet addresses in Switzerland. Montreux Riviera has stood out for a number of years due to its numerous addresses highlighted by these two references in gourmet literature.
Three new addresses have been included in the Gault & Millau guide this year, increasing the number of rated restaurants to 29. In addition, the 2-star restaurant Le Pont de Brent received the first Hospitality and Service Award in February 2019 from the Michelin guide.
The region’s top highlights include: Chillon Castle, Chaplin’s World–a bold new exhibition space, and Lavaux, a UNESCO World Heritage .
