Exclusive Maldives hideaway Velaa Private Island is celebrating its 5th anniversary in timely style on December 20 – getting the festive season off to a flying start the eve of the Christmas & New Year holidays.
A number of complimentary activities and offerings from Velaa for guests on the island include sports tournaments for tennis, table tennis, squash, badminton, golf and volleyball kick-off the celebrations during the day, organized by the resort’s dedicated Recreations team.
Amazing prizes include a tasting dinner at fine-dining restaurant Aragu, watersports activities and Spa pampering.
Celebrations continue into the evening with a special cocktail party and stunning buffet at Aragu prepared for all guests by Chef Gaushan and his team.
An international line-up of live entertainment with dancing late into the night includes famous Czech violoncellist Tereza Kovalova, chic San Francisco jazz band Nova Jazz and Sicilian ‘electro-swing’ ensemble Swingrowers.
