In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown is collaborating with Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), AEON and celebrated Malaysian fashion designer Yani Bakthiar to present A Celebration of Pink Charity Afternoon Tea & Fashion Show by Yani Bakthiar on Saturday, 10 October 2026.
Taking place from 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm at Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown, this special charity event invites guests to enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea, an exclusive fashion showcase and an afternoon of meaningful connection, while raising funds for the UMMC–PPUM B40 Breast Cancer Diagnostic Fund.
Through the purchase of tickets and fundraising activities held during the event, guests will not only experience an elegant afternoon of fine food and fashion but also contribute towards supporting breast cancer diagnostic needs for the B40 community.
The event brings together the community, corporate partners and supporters for an afternoon of purposeful giving, raising greater awareness of breast cancer while supporting a cause that can make a meaningful difference to those in need.
Guests will be welcomed with a refreshing drink before settling in for an afternoon tea menu designed to delight. The savoury selection features a tomato, crab and chive tartlet; cured salmon sandwich with beetroot, cream cheese and dill; cheese croquettes with beef bresaola; and a refined prawn roll layered with brioche and tobiko.
From the oven come raspberry rose brioche and cranberry scones, served with clotted cream, strawberry jam and mandarin marmalade.
Dessert promises an equally elegant finale. Highlights include cherry pistachio choux with pistachio mousseline and cherry confit; jasmine cheesecake with peach compote and cream cheese mousse; raspberry tart with almond frangipane and mascarpone Chantilly cream; panna cotta with macerated strawberry and kaffir lime; and honey and ruby chocolate madeleines.
Adding a touch of glamour to the afternoon, Yani Bakthiar will present a special fashion showcase, offering guests a front-row experience that brings together contemporary Malaysian design and a meaningful cause that is all in pink. Purchase of any Yani Bakthiar items will automatically donate 40% to PPUM B40 Breast Cancer Diagnostic Fund.
Every ticket purchased at RM150 each contributes towards this meaningful fundraising initiative.
