Bar Trigona at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur presents its 2026 cocktail menu, Nectar of Time—a journey through fleeting moments, an elevation of flavour, and a bridge that connects memory with infinite possibility.

“Nectar of Time is our tribute to the beauty of time in motion,” shares Rohan Matmary, Beverage Manager of Bar Trigona. “At Bar Trigona, time transforms flavours, spirits, and memories, creating a drinking experience that honours tradition while transcending borders.” The new menu reaffirms Bar Trigona’s legendary status as a leading force in Kuala Lumpur’s cocktail scene since its opening in 2019. Over the years, the bar has championed Malaysia’s rich agricultural heritage on the global stage, while inspiring local bartenders to reconnect with their roots and reimagine what is possible within a glass.

With its strong sense of place and commitment to provenance, Bar Trigona has stood the test of time—earning a spot on Asia’s 50 Best Bars for seven consecutive years, alongside numerous accolades, including its recent recognition in Tatler’s Asia-Pacific Best 100 Bars 2025.

A Liquid Narrative Through Time

Anchored in history, Nectar of Time unfolds as a liquid narrative shaped by the progression of an evening. The menu is thoughtfully divided into distinct chapters:
• First Light – Bright, refreshing cocktails designed to awaken the palate.
• Progressive Chapters – Expressions that deepen in complexity and character.
• After Dark – Nightcaps and dessert-inspired cocktails to close the evening.
• Eternal Hours – Light, sessionable drinks crafted for enjoyment at any time of day.

At its heart, the menu celebrates locally sourced ingredients from Trigona Farm and long-standing partners, seamlessly interwoven with elements of Malaysian culture—from the heritage craft of Tuak (rice wine) to nostalgic flavours like Kaya (coconut jam). Through inventive techniques, familiar local tastes are reinterpreted into cocktails that are as visually striking as they are layered in flavour, offering a fully immersive sensory experience.

Signature Cocktails

Trigona Bee’s Knees
A refined evolution of the classic gin-and-honey cocktail, developed over two years. Floral honey is replaced with Trigona honey, prized for its rich, woody depth, complemented by coffee aromas from My Liberica beans sourced from Kulai, Johor. Selected for their distinctive notes of honey, chocolate, almond, and liquorice, the beans add remarkable complexity. Freshly pressed lemon juice brings brightness, while the cocktail is shaken tableside, lending a sense of ceremony to every serve.

Açar Martini
As the Dirty Martini makes a resurgence in Malaysia, the team sought a local alternative to olives—finding inspiration in Nyonya Açar pickles. This bold reinterpretation showcases the spiced vibrancy of modern Açar, crafted with daikon radish, carrots, cucumber, red chilli, and artisanal Sarawak pineapple Tuak from Bad Cat Borneo, Kuching.

Puro Ice Collaboration Series

Lunara
A delicate blend of raspberry, lychee, and rose geranium, served with a crystal-clear handcrafted ice sphere resembling a full moon—its core encasing a single raspberry.

Glacier
Herbaceous and striking, this cocktail features a vivid butterfly pea flower ice sphere. As it slowly melts, hues of blue and violet unfurl gracefully, evoking the quiet majesty of a melting glacier.

Classic Returns

Banana
A sustainability-driven creation that celebrates the sweet Pisang Mas (golden banana), gently simmered with Sarawak rice wine. The fruit, leaves, and blossoms are all incorporated into the cocktail, minimising waste while maximising flavour.

The Ghost
An evocative blend of decaffeinated distilled Malaysian coffee aromas and the subtle bitterness of 80% dark chocolate syrup. The rim is dusted with cacao powder made by Chocolate Concierge, using cocoa beans sourced from Trigona Farm.
