After a decade of reputable services and experience to discerning guests, The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Macao has recently launched a brand new signature treatment called, Portugal with Love.
This ritual is specially designed for one to embrace Portuguese and Macanese heritage that is so distinctive to the city, with an introduction to products created with Port wine and unique herbs exclusively for the Hotel.
The journey starts with a foot bath performed with Port wine; rich in antioxidant elements. The second half features a rejuvenating body massage with fermented massage oil, created exclusively for this Spa.
The fermentation of the massage oil takes inspiration from the wine-making process. In ensuring antioxidant benefits, a blend of herbs highlighting Melissa is soaked in a non-fragrant oil base derived from grape seeds. It is then placed under fermentation for a minimum of 15 days.
Every part of the experience; from feet to body scrub, and full-body massage, is meticulously performed with a unique blend of products. The result is a grease-free, herb-infused oil which leaves one’s skin feeling light and refreshed with improved blood circulation, and thus, awakening the senses.
