Built in 1897, The Alpina Mountain Resort & Spa, is located in the romantic Bündner mountain village of Tschiertschen. Renovated and re-opened in 2015, the hotel features a unique blend of its original Art Nouveau design with modern comfort.
Located on a 32 kilometre range of slopes and a 1,000-metre descent from Gürgaletsch, The Alpina Mountain Resort & Spa works closely with mountain railways in offering guests an all-in package, including ski passes.
The hotel is known for its ‘ski-in, ski-out’ offers which provide direct access to skiing and snowboarding from the hotel’s slopes to the front of its ski room.
This resort has 20 double rooms and 7 suites with unforgettable views from their balconies. The Panorama Restaurant, rebuilt in the style of the golden twenties, lives up to its name. The Restaurant La Belle Époque, distinctively restored in the 1890s Art Nouveau style, will mesmerise guests with its elegant atmosphere. The Tropaios Lounge provides "alpine-dining" with delicacies and refinements of the alpine cuisine of Grisons.
The resort is nested at the heavenly Tschiertschen, where guests can relax and indulge in its stunning beauty. In the summer, guests can go hiking and cycling. Winter activities include Alpine skiing, sledging, snowshoe walking, skating and curling.
