Occupying the ground floor of the Heritage Wing of Eastern & Oriental Hotel, Java Tree is a semi-formal dining restaurant exuding a relaxed style with simple elegance.

Named after one of the key historical elements located at the garden area of the hotel’s promenade, the tree was planted before the establishment of the hotel in 1885, which is the oldest living species of the Java Tree on the island.

The restaurant’s menu blends the best of Straits Nyonya and classic European cuisines, complemented by fine wines and beverages, and ends with assorted desserts served from the dessert trolley.

Please take note that the restaurant operating hours is from Wednesday to Saturday, 6:30pm to 11:00pm. Dress code is smart casual and guests are discouraged from wearing shorts, singlets, flip flops and gentlemen’s sandals.
