The Tarvernist restaurant at Kimpton Da-an is a hit in Taipei. This modern yet sophisticated space was designed by Neri & Hu, the winners of the prestigious MAISON & OBJECT Asia in 2015.
The one-of-a-kind modern cuisines offered here are conceptualized by James Sharman, who has held notable positions in highly ranked restaurants including NOMA, Tom Aikens and The Pawn by Tom Aikens.
The core of Sharman’s work is to deliver a true and relatable representation of the surrounding landscape, from the simplest to the noblest. Thus, he works closely with Taiwan’s organic movement, local farmers and food producers in order to keep up with the essence of true and relatable flavours of freshness.
