700 distinguished guests including trade partners from Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and the Philippines as well as the collaborated partners joined the auspicious celebration.
One of the most amazing parts of the evening is the inspirational show which is divided into 3 segments showcasing the 3 main concepts of Past, Present and Future hair trends. As for future hair trends, this segment was presented by the Schwarzkopf Professional Creative Director, Elvin Soh from E.Vogue showcasing the latest color collection.
The main highlight of the congress is the Schwarzkopf Professional Hairdressing Awards. This last segment of the evening celebrated the success of the 25 finalists and showcased the individual catwalk shows of the finalists and their models. These 25 finalists are the top 5 finalists of the 5 categories – Men’s Style, Commercial Style, Avant Garde, SKP Color Technician of the Year and Salon of the Year.
Finally, it was time for the highly anticipated awards presentation to the Hairdressing Awards winners. General Manager of Oris, Chan Lean Teck presents the prize to the winner of the Timeless Look Awards by Oris – Raymond Chin from Hair Culture Revolution. Raymond Chin gained the highest votes online and take away an exclusive Oris watch near to RM10,000 as the winning prize.
This followed by General Manager of Henkel Beauty Care Professional for Malaysia, Singapore & Southeast Asia Export Markets, Richard Gan to announce and present the winners of Men’s Style, Commercial Style and Avant Garde categories to Andy Foo from Mustard Salon, Raymond Chin from Hair Culture Revolution and Eugene Low from Evogue Hair & Beauty Studio Academy.
Lastly, the winners of SKP Color Technician of the Year and Salon of the Year were announced and presented by APAC Head of Henkel Beauty Care, David Tung to Euniece Yee from Belay Hair Salon and Liew Kenn Shaun and Poh Ming Khai from H Art Concept.
