teamLab SuperNature Macao is an extremely complex, three-dimensional interactive space with varying elevations that spans 5,000 m2 and is comprised of enormous 8-meter-tall works by art collective, teamLab. It is a “body immersive” art space centered around a group of artworks that aim to explore new perceptions of the world and the continuity between humans and nature.

Floating Flower Garden: Flowers and I are of the Same Root, the Garden and I are One
An interactive garden composed of over 8,000 living orchids that bloom in mid-air as if floating in space. When visitors approach the curtain of orchids, the flowers slowly begin to float upwards, creating an opening for people to enter. Once visitors enter the space, the orchids descend again behind them. Reflecting the concept of zen gardens, the work encourages visitors to become one with the flowers.
EN TEA HOUSE
In EN TEA HOUSE, visitors can drink tea in which digital flowers infinitely bloom. When tea is poured, flowers bloom inside the teacup. When the teacup is lifted, the flowers scatter and spread outside of the cup. Flowers bloom infinitely as long as there is tea. When the tea is gone, the flowers disappear with it. Tea is a transformative entity, and the amount of tea in the cup will change the size of the tea’s surface. Accordingly, it will also change the size of the flower. If tea is spilled from the cup, flowers will also bloom in the spilt liquid.
