In commemoration of the Eastern & Oriental Hotel's 140th anniversary, the E&O and Raffles Singapore presented an extraordinary two-night celebration of heritage flavours and timeless hospitality on 9–10 July 2025. This exclusive event brought together two iconic names in luxury hospitality to honour a shared legacy rooted in elegance, culture, and culinary excellence.
The dining experience paid tribute to the illustrious Sarkies Brothers—founders of Southeast Asia’s most renowned colonial hotels—and celebrated the cultural significance of the tiffin, a cherished symbol of love, care, and tradition in Indian culinary history.
Guests were invited to rediscover these timeless values through a thoughtfully curated menu that blended history with innovation.
Held at the Java Tree in the Heritage Wing of the E&O Hotel, A Tribute to The Tiffin featured a grand culinary journey led by Chef Kuldeep Negi, the acclaimed chef of the Tiffin Room at Raffles Singapore. Showcasing the finest in refined North Indian cuisine, Chef Kuldeep brought to life age-old recipes using premium spices and traditional techniques, offering both meat and vegetarian set menus that echoed the opulence once savoured by royalty.
