Interviewing Jennifer Wang was an impressive experience as I saw her deep love for Taiwan. She spent 8 years to find out problems faced by the hotel guests, and finding a solution to solve it. Besides, she uses as much made in Taiwan products in the hotels, hoping the hotels will be filled with quality Taiwanese goods.
HOME Hotel is Made in Taiwan (MIT) design hotels which is located at Xinyi and Da-an District. This two hotels have a different design, Home Hotel at Xinyi targets business travellers with the modern and simple design; while Home Hotel Da-an integrates aboriginal creativities and embrace nature in its design. Even with the different designs, each of every Home Hotel’s aim is the same, that is to become every guest’s home in Taiwan.
“I am happy I can do something for Made in Taiwan products, hope our guests will like those products and help those products be known,” Jennifer Wang shared.
Home Hotel Xinyi first opened in 2010, until year 2015 a second hotel in Da-an was set up. The hotels pay much attention on guests’ comments and want to give the best to guests. As a result, it was listed 2018 MICHELIN CERTIFICATION of Hotels, while Home Hotel CEO Jennifer Wang has awarded as the 2016 EY Entrepreneur of The Year. “This is all effort of team work,” said Jennifer humbly.
She revealed the group’s next step, “We have been invited by the investor to go to Kota Kinabalu in Sabah to design and run a new hotel named The Luma.”
We hope to have this hotel group which carries a unique Taiwanese design can shine throughout the international hotel industry.
