The 5th edition of The Gold List, proudly presented by IM FIRST CLASS magazine, was held at Yun House, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The prestigious event welcomed 50 distinguished guests, including award winners from various sectors and renowned Malaysian personalities such as Tong Bing Yu, Jason, Danny Koo, and Jack Gohr, who joined in the celebration.
Staying true to its mission of honouring excellence and innovation in the travel industry, this year’s Gold List once again highlights the most recommended hotels, restaurants, airlines, cruises, and travel destinations of the year. Each recipient was carefully selected by the editorial team at IM FIRST CLASS, offering readers a highly curated guide to premium travel experiences.
In his opening speech, managing Editor Oo Lean Hui shared: “The core purpose of The Gold List is to create a trusted benchmark for the local travel industry through the recommendations of our professional editorial team, and to provide readers with a reliable reference when planning their journeys. Looking ahead, we hope to integrate more public voting mechanisms to ensure the list reflects real market sentiment.”
Oo also took the opportunity to express his gratitude to all the supporting brands and partners who have continued to believe in the magazine, allowing IM FIRST CLASS to shine in an ever-evolving industry. Special thanks were extended to key partners such as Hung Chun Popo Soy Sauce, L’Occitane, Plaza Premium Group, Yun House, and LEESCOCOA Artisan Chocolate, whose support added extra sparkle to the occasion.
Following the award ceremony, guests were treated to a refined luncheon curated by Jimmy Wong, Executive Chinese Chef of Yun House. While savouring the flavourful dishes, guests mingled and exchanged ideas on travel and refined living.
The successful hosting of the 5th Gold List Awards not only marks a celebration of trailblazers in the tourism industry, but also reflects a continued commitment to luxury living. The organisers look forward to even broader participation from the travel community in the years to come.
