Taiwan’s most iconic summer event, the 2025 Taipei Summer Festival, will take place at Dadaocheng Wharf from August 6th to August 30th!
This year, the festival will run for 25 consecutive days, a 300-second themed firework show will light up the sky every Wednesday at 8 PM at Dadaocheng Wharf. The grand finale on August 30th will feature a spectacular display themed firework “Love Comes at the Right Time” with 480 seconds of firework spanning a width of approximately 800 meters. Spectators will also be treated to the dazzling “Chengcai Senrin” firework, which is a type of large-scale multi-burst firework that has recently gained popularity in Japan and Taiwan. In addition, the festival will present five exciting concerts, featuring a line-up of popular artists and rising singer-songwriters, ready to accompany everyone through the vibrant midsummer time.
In addition to the fireworks, the festival holds another surprise: themed installations inspired by beloved characters Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Lotso from the film Toy Story, which has grown up with many people since its premiere in 1995, will appear along the streets of Dadaocheng and the riverside of Yanping Riverside Park.
