Penghu boasts abundant tourism resources, with its stunning natural landscapes, diverse cultural experiences, and seasonal, delicious seafood that have long been favoured by travellers. Among its many attractions, the annual Penghu International Fireworks Festival stands out as the most iconic large-scale event. Each year, large crowds of domestic and international visitors gather to witness the dazzling fireworks lighting up the night sky — a breathtaking spectacle that ignites the beauty of summer.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of Peanuts, and the Penghu County Government has partnered to create a rich line-up of events. Highlights include a Peanuts poster preview, a drone light show themed around Snoopy and Penghu, and Snoopy-themed photo spots. Of course, the grand and colourful fireworks displays and captivating stage performances remain an essential part of the celebration.
The 2025 Penghu Fireworks Festival spans over two months and will take place at Magong Guanyinting Recreation Area and several well-known outlying islands. The stunning fireworks, set against Penghu’s uniquely beautiful bays and the romantic Xiying Rainbow Bridge, complement each other perfectly.
