Alaska is USA’s most northern state. Chart a course across Alaska to experience its amazing national parks, dramatic mountain canyons, breath-taking glaciers and forests teeming with wildlife.

As the state’s largest native village, Anchorage is also a modern big-city with good shopping spots and sophisticated culinary scene. Shopping in Anchorage saves more than cents with no sales tax; and it has a wide selection of goods.

If you are looking for an extraordinary travel experience, the place that you should not missed is Fairbanks. Known as the land of the midnight sun and aurora borealis, it offers one-of-a-kind outdoor wonders.

With its prime spot under the auroral oval (a ring-shaped region hovering above the Far North), Fairbanks offers a dazzling view of the Northern Lights during the “Aurora Season”, from August 21 through April 21.

Combined with the thrilling sport of dog mushing and a glittering display of crystal ice sculptures, winter in Fairbanks is a traveller’s snowy paradise. Right on its heels is the “Midnight Sun Season”, from April 22 to August 20, where the sun shines up to 24 hours a day and the sub-arctic summer is filled with outdoor festival and fun.

Additionally, travellers may also take off on an adventure to Denali National Park or plan a rugged hike along the Arctic Circle or Yukon River, which are both an accessible five to six-hour drive from Fairbanks.
