Hangzhou known as Paradise of Heaven to Earth and it is top 4th city of China after Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
Hangzhou Metropolitan Area Inbound Tourism Promotion Conference 2024 was held in Hangzhou. Nearly 200 participants attended the event, including around 100 international travel agencies from Europe and Southeast Asia, approximately 20 domestic online inbound travel companies, major inbound travel agencies from cities across the Hangzhou metropolitan area, and tourism influencers.
From January to August, Hangzhou welcomed 584,400 visitors, a year-on-year increase of 178%. At the event, the “5,000 Years of China through Hangzhou” international tourism product was highlighted, showcasing the rich culture and beautiful landscapes of seven cities: Hangzhou, Jiaxing, Huzhou, Shaoxing, and Quzhou in Zhejiang Province, as well as Huangshan and Xuancheng in Anhui Province.
The Hangzhou metropolitan area has a profound historical and cultural heritage, boasting six World Heritage sites, 11 national scenic spots, and 14 national 5A-level tourist attractions.
